Mask Clarrise took Montags Face of happiness off and made him be sad. Mildred attempts to kill herself while Montag was at work. Montag then call the Hospital and she was rushed there.

Dog There is a Dog at the Fire house that is a great source for the Fire man to start fires. He is a Mechanical hound that tries to kill Montag. Montag think someone set the hound so it can kill him.

The Firemen tease montag that the dog wants to kill him. Fire men tells Montag that he can make the hound succide itself. So now that hound has to be checked out. plus clarrise has somthing important to tell Montag.

Journals For 2/22/08

Guy Montag is a Fireman who job it is to burn book so people cannot read them. In the Exposition of the novel, Guy Montag is on his way home after he set a house on Fire. It shows the pleasure and excitement he had while doing his job.

On the Way Home While on his way home Guy Montag ran into a Lady who was out really late. The lady name was Clarrise and she acted really weird. she says to Guy Montag that she is not affraid of him, and that was so brave of her to say that.

Clarrise Is a strange girl who was out late at night checking out the nature around her. She see's Montag and reconize him as a Fireman. GuyMontag talk to her and she finds out that Montag thinks he has the best job ever.

Montag Montag is starting to get strong feeling for clarrise. He puts it as she knows him and know what he about to do or say before he even say or do anything. Montag likes clarrise looks and she does ask alot of good questions.

Salamander When I read on in this book I found out that the Salamander is the symbol of the Fireman. I also see that Montag loves buring books and stuff. Kerosence is what was on Montag that really don't wash off. Clarrise thinks that it is Perfume.

Soceity The whole World banned books because they don't want the people to have wisdom. The Fireman in the town take pride in buring books and pleasure. Montag is highley respected.

liking Clarrise and Montag have this speacial kind of bond that is getting to the both of them. It is rare for a Fireman to talk to an outlaw, even carry out a conversation. It is fun reading this book right now.

Crazy Everyone that knows Clarrise thinks that she is crazy. She does things that normal people won't to. This was often taught to her by her family.

Fire versus Nature Montag rather burn books then be a normal person. Clarrise is a normal person that don't let noone control her thinking. She is strange because she don't let noone control her and she brings her own mind to the table.

Home when Montag arrived home he finds his wife in the Bed glazing at the Sky. He looks at the medichine that was next to her empty. Only ealier that day it was filled all the way to the top.

Montag believe that clarrise is a mirror or a reflector. It is like she was there waiting just for him.
He thinks that she is the one for him. Clarrise gives Montag a different view point on the World.
